FULL STORY

This was one of my best photoshoots I’ve ever been a part of. First off this was the second time I was officially in NYC. The first time I went to NYC I went alone for a few days and it wasn’t really work focused. This shoot was planned out and I went with my team. It was 5 of us including me and we flew from LAX to NYC in February for Fashion Week. This was the first time I got to meet my now friend @kaimillerx we spoke briefly through DM and a few weeks before going to NYC I asked her if she would love to be red and model for my next drop. She said yes and I was so excited to book her for this shoot. We were in NYC for over a week and we shot this drop 2 days before our trip ended. We had a studio already booked for this and I was so excited to do this with her and my team. This is where it goes from amazing to even more amazing. While we were in NYC, I was watching one of my new favorite artists @trevorspitta on his ig story and in one of his posts he was promoting a club he was going to be performing at. When I tell you he’s my favorite rapper I mean it. I got proof for it because he was my most listened to artist on my apple replay. I sent him a dm and even sent him the screenshot to show him actually a real supporter. I know all of his music. Not just that but my friends at this point also love his music so were all hyped up. We get ready and decide to go to the club he’s going to be at. I catch him there and say what’s up. He’s super nice and just a
great guy all around. I don’t drink so I go outside and start to go next door to get a red bull to stay up because it’s getting late. He sees me going out and decides to catch up to me out front. I explain to him that I’m not leaving I’m just getting a red bull. We end up just talking for a bit and my brand gets mentioned as well as the photoshoot we have in 2 days. My photographer who’s with me hints at him and asks him to be in it and model for the drop and get red. It felt like a hail Mary moment. I was honestly just expecting him to say no, and I was going to be okay with that. 2 days later he’s at the shoot modeling for the brand painted red along with my soon to be amazing friend @kaiamillerx. It was surreal. We played his music. I got to collaborate with my favorite creative people that ive been inspired by. It was such an accomplishment to have the first models that weren’t red be THEM.
